ReplyDeleteWe drove out of Bangalore during the Dasara vacations. We were two couples who stayed at krushi koota home-stay over a long weekend. And what a memorable time we had. The home stay is a farmhouse surrounded by trees and shrubs and a Family home on the laps of paddy and arcanut field, situated near Sringeri. Also we visited Sringeri for navaratri utsava.
ReplyDeleteThe food...yummy food. The Food stays true to the Malnad Cuisine- so every meal was an exciting event. The hospitality of the hosts must be mentioned. They treated us like house guests and regaled us with anecdotes about the people and traditions of the region. The charm of the home-stay lies in its green surroundings, pristine facilities, delicious food and the unobtrusive hospitality of the hosts.
We spotted some Hornbills and some unique birds and took a nice walk to near by paddy fields of Kruthik. Also, interestingly the place has close-by proximity to very interesting Kundadri hills & some nice waterfalls. A fantastic place to visit interesting places around.
The host Shabari and Kruthik did a fabulous & humble hospitality added to this wonderful stay...I will be heahding there with my full family soon.

ReplyDeleteWe were 3 guys on a road trip from Bangalore & soon after reaching Sringer, we were searching for a place to experience homestay and a malnad cusine. Luckily, we came across this place & whatever we fancied, got fulfilled.
Food was heavenly tasty. It was hard for us to stop munching whatever was served even after our stomach got full. Accommodation was very clean & well maintained. Surrounding of this homestay is really refreshing. Kruthik, the homestay Owner, is really a down to earth guy and was always ready to help us with our queries. He is having an excellent knowledge about the surrounding places..
Thanks Kruthik for some extra efforts that you have taken for us..

Booking was easy. Mrs & Mr Kruthik are a friendly caring couple who have waiters with 'wheels on feet'. Always moving, always serving!
A lovely natural setting is the highlight of the place.
From here visiting Sringeri for a temple visit and some nearby picnic spots is convenient.
Krushikoota Home stay is the “Best Place” suitable for all and a perfect relaxing holiday/home stay where one would never forget their stay/experience amidst the awesome nature. We stayed at Krushikoota Home stay for 1 days and wat a relaxing holiday it was. Just luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv it. I definitely would luv to and will come back to stay here for all my further trips. Felt Like a heaven - a complete soundless and calm place when I compare my busy bustle daily stay sadly at Bangalore.
Food: Yummy Yummy!! Delicious!! Slurp !!!!, I guess even at my home we don’t eat time-to-time but here Oh My God!!!! Right from morning tea till night food/coffee/tea etc., timely served. Hats off to the service !!
But overall: great place for a peaceful holiday.

We were looking for a place near sringeri where the stay should also be a breather for us and the kids.Our stay in Krushikoota exceeded our expectations. While it is conveniently located near the temple town, it also rejuvenated us with a huge dose of mother nature. The early morning chirping of birds, fresh air, clean water,mist covered fields,peacocks on fields and forest and the warm hospitality made us feel wonderful. Our kids and ourselves enjoyed by walking around in plantations,gardens, fields, watching animals, birds and being pampered by the hosts. Kruthik and his family are great hosts making us very comfortable to relax and enjoy like staying at a friends place. We have wonderful memories to cherish, thanks to Kruthik, Sabari, Drushi and certainly Dumma and Spikee :)).

On account of my birthday which falls on 22nd August, We decided to go for a trip to take a break from busy hectic life. This time we planned to visit Theerthahalli.
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to visit "KaviShaila", Sringeri. After searching in the net, after going through lots of reviews we decided to stay @ Krushikoota. I called up "Kruthik" to reserve the stay. Day 1, we visited Tunga dam, Tiger Sanctuary, Mandagaddhe bird sanctuary and Kundhadhri hills as suggested by Kruthik. Meanwhile my phone was not reachable coz of very poor signals. But after sometime, I came to know that Kruthik had called more than 15-20 times to know our whereabouts. His concern is very much appreciated. Krushikoota is very nice,calm, clean, amidst of nature and above all it exceeded our expectation. The hosts Kruthik, Shabari, Shubha are very friendly. We didnt feel like we have seen them for the first time. They were just like our family. Krushikoota is "A HOME AWAY FROM THE HOME". The food was very delicious, especially fish fry :). Home made wine was very good. The hosts helped us to plan the next day trip. Since this time we planned a very short trip. We just stayed there for one night. But we are sure we will be visiting Krushikoota soon for atleast 3-4 days stay. We recommend this place to all who are planning for Malnad trip. Best Home stay! I had visited Krushi Koota with my family, and all of us had a very memorable experience. Everything was up to the mark- right from the food, to the nature walk, to the quality of the rooms. The owner, Mr. Kruthik and his family truly reflect Malnad culture and hospitality. In fact, we even received a call from them a day after we left the home stay to enquire, about our travel to Bangalore.

The best home stay i have been to till date. I would suggest this place to anyone who is going nearby. The food is delicious and Mr. Krutik made sure that we were treated as family. Will definitely return here. Its a really peaceful place and you can get lost in the beauty of this place. 10/10 for KrushiKoota.

ReplyDeleteFood was awesome by Shabari ...Hospitality was the best of all by Mr.Krushik.
Nice serene environment and small river flowing next to the Homestay, spent some nice family time at riverside in the evening....Had cool and calm morning walk in the estate...Enjoyed with Viru(nice dog) for sometime....Talked so many topics with Krushik and Shabari over dinner and breakfast.
Anytime I would like to recommend this place to my friends..We will surely visit this place again in future...
